Notes:

• If only children learned to plant & nurture. Not kill unwanted plants (Weeding). It’s a Divine Parent thing. Teach by example. Though teaching…. So hard. Respect to all those teachers i helped retire by teaching how to grow food. Much penance is due!
• Knocking blossoms off plants that have small bwains (too long in pots) like pickling cucumbers can stimulate the roots to start growing to full potential. Big root= big bwain

Notes:

• Chard &beets commonly have seeds that can sprout 3 triplets. Waiting till they are sprouted, and separating them, lets them have their own system resources without competition.
• Anyone can wear new shoes. To get the most out of a shoe takes fine Wizarding. And ducktape is like a Philosephers Stone to a modern day Alchemist

Tree planting Vlog. 1. It aint a tomato plant!

Notes:

• Tree spotting: Looking underground where the old trees got their water from.
• Get good soil for the baby to grow in. Clay mixed with unburned live soil/organic matter from under big old pine.
• Mark the tree so it would be less likely to be stepped on. Putting mulch on the top to slow evaporation, control other weeds, and feed the soil.
• Two months later update: The Ponderosas lived, the Firs did not. Shoulda come watering earlier. Will come back with more ponderosas. I know a guy. He has lots! And will gift to whomever wants to plant a tree.

Vlog. 16 Purple Potatoes & soil building.

Notes:

• Soil is mix of clay from the Ferment Farm & fall leafs. With a trace of Super Magic compost soil. Clay has the most mineral diversity. Just a matter of getting bacteria into releasing it to plants
• 3 weeks later and a kazillion baby purple potatoes ready for individual cribs, in total at least 40 babies just from a dozen tiny seed potatoes! And into the fresh wet cribs waiting in the watering table.
• Fun fact: those dozen seed potatoes can be re-buried for another crop of babies, or eaten!
• Super big potatoes saved for propagation. Though they seemed to start up slower
• Over 120 babies into cribs total. Big ones went into pots

Vlog. 15 Not-too-late Squash n Zucchini Genesis Plate.

Paper towel & tracing paper sandwich plating. Zucchini colours on plate makes for fun variety!

Four days later getting babies off the plate and into their cribs, just don’t plant them too deep!

Here we are planting cucumbers, basil (pre-grown, needs separation), perpetual spinach (transplanting), and kale.

Notes:

• Cukes off plate go into soaked supersoil. Plates consist of tracing paper sandwiched between paper towels, sandwiched between two plates in a bag. A great, clean way to start seeds indoors.
• “Fluffing”… Making a water permeable top dressing, w no other potential “weed” seeds. Something first baby wings can poke through to gain Ra (sun). Only 16 seeds from bag of English Long Telegraph seeds. At least it was 100% germination rate. Stupid me, again, for not seed saving. Problem being, is much cross pollination happens when growing cukes w melons n squashes.
• Tags are made using old window blinds
• The tomatillo and eggplant seeds were 10+ (or even 30+) years old and were duds
• 2 gal pots work great for basil. Top dressing with chopped leafs for moisture retention, weed control, and feeding the soil microbes.
• Got a total of 32 basil plants from a single pre-grown pot

Vlog 5. A peasing in the garden (pea planting).

1.Deep mulch gardening. A winter blanket of food for soil bugs.

Notes:

• 2 seeds per spot. Place on top of soil and put muck over tops.
• There is magic all around us. Look for it. When you are balancing through life, stay on the beam. Exact measurements tell you when you are perfectly on the balancing beam.
• Newspaper helps hold in moisture whilst genesis occurs in the greenhouse.
• Just in the mail, Malabar spinach seeds. Crazy vines grow over 10 ft, with gorgeous red stalks, thick red/green leafs n fun tiny grape like flower pod/seeds. A wonderful seed company. Stuffed package with love.

Vlog 4. Late apple tree pruning & grape grafting of a 100(?) yr old Concord grape tree.

For the grape grafting: Fingers crossed. Not sure how well the splicing tape will work.

Why not try fermenting a high antihistamine veggie, for those with histamine intolerance? Catch 21: ferments create a healthy gut, but some unhealthy ones cannot take the high histamines produced by fermenting.

Also I mispoke in the video initially: Cooked cabbage does NOT have 4X more vitamin C as raw, FERMENTED cabbage does! Who hired this guy for The Institute of Natural Fermentation anyways?

Getting a head start on beets.

Going over:

• Making deep root planter containers
• Sifting the super soil to fill planters
• Cleaning and using the soaking table after a long winter rest
• Plugging baby beets into cribs

Some notes on planting:

• Always soak your containers before planting. And do layouts, knowing they will be getting much bigger. And separating any doubles you get from store.
• Watering welds roots to soil, then wet chopped leafs blankets the supersoil.
• Two gallon pots allow plant brains to be large enough for most.
• For smaller long planters. Blanket with soaked mulch first, then poke holes for plant.

FB is great for gardening documentation. This year large single clove bulb. Next year i should have at least 150 Red Rossiia hard neck garlic bulbs. They may be small 5-6 cloves, but will be about 500 for planting. 2500 for following year, and much larger. It can take 5 years from garlic seed to the size we normally use.
